Description
Brief Summary:
Forest Resource Consultants, Inc. (FRC) is seeking a Forest Biometrician to join our Technical Services team. This role will help lead the evolution of our analytical, modeling, and decision-support capabilities by combining traditional forestry expertise with data science, automation, and artificial intelligence.
Key Qualifications & Requirements (Detailed in PDF):
- Master of Science degree in Forestry with an emphasis in biometrics, mensuration, forest modeling, or a related field.
- Strong quantitative background in forest finance, economics, volume equations, and statistics.
- Experience with growth and yield models, inventory design, and tools like Python, R, SQL, Power BI, or Remsoft Woodstock.
