Applicants must propose their own independent research, and may study any group of organisms at levels from genes to populations to communities to ecosystems, using any combination of approaches. Research proposals that incorporate the Texas Field Station Network or the UT Biodiversity Collections are highly encouraged, given the Stengl-Wyer Endowment’s mission.
