Internationally acclaimed performer Joseph Jones will present an evening of early music featuring the Baroque bassoon and dulcian, with works by Bertoli, Böddecker, and Telemann. A graduate of the Juilliard School’s historical performance program, as well as the University of Minnesota and Utah State University, Jones has performed with prestigious ensembles including The Smithsonian Academy Orchestra, The English Consort, American Bach Soloists, and the Lyra Baroque Orchestra.

He will be joined by Dr. Cody Hunter, SFA School of Music bassoon faculty member, for a program that highlights the rich, expressive sound of the historical bassoon.
