The Kantorei and Singin’ Axes choirs present "Never Forget: Holocaust Cantata," a 40-minute composition in 13 movements that alternates between poignant readings and musical passages for chorus, piano, soloists, and cello. Inspired by research into the original music performed by prisoners in concentration camps, composer McCullough has crafted a work that powerfully conveys the bleak emotional landscape experienced by those who were imprisoned. This reflective and moving performance invites audiences to remember and honor the past through a unique fusion of spoken word and music.
