Trombone Choir Concert

The SFA Trombone Choir, conducted jointly by Dr. Deb Scott and Mr. Tom Mensch, will present a concert featuring a wide range of works spanning several centuries. The 33-member ensemble will perform Gabrieli’s Sonata Piano e Forte (arr. John Marcellus), Nathan Daniel’s Constellations: Stories in the Sky—recently premiered at the International Trombone Festival—Aubrey Tucker’s arrangement of Bridge Over Troubled Water with five percussionists, Mahler’s Adagietto (arr. Wesley Hanson), and Once a Bone a Time, a new composition by SFA music education major Matt Purcell.
