The SFA Gardens Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series on March 13 features Jordan Cunningham, who will present a program on the diverse array of plants that will be available at the Spring 2025 Garden Gala Plant Sale on April 5, 2025. Cunningham started her SFA Gardens career in 2017 as a greenhouse technician and became the greenhouse and nursery manager in 2022. She earned a B.S. in Horticulture from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2015 and worked for the Dallas Arboretum before returning to Nacogdoches.
The SFA Gardens Lecture Series is held the second Thursday of each month in the Brundrett Conservation Education Building at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center, located at 2900 Raguet St. Presentations begin at 7 p.m. and are followed by a plant raffle. Attendance is free and open to the public. Parking is available at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center or next door at Raguet Elementary School.
