Ethan Palmer graduated from The Woodlands High School. He decided to make East Texas his home and attend Stephen F. Austin State University. His mom said his time at SFA made him the man he was meant to be.

Palmer had a huge heart and was always telling jokes, making people smile and lending a helping hand. He made sure everyone was taken care of. As he worked toward a degree in agricultural engineering technology, Palmer’s goal was to become an agriculture teacher — a goal he accomplished not long after his 2019 graduation from SFA.

Palmer passed away Jan. 20, 2021. He will be remembered as an enthusiast of old cars, the outdoors and live music. A scholarship has been established in his name to memorialize his hard work at SFA, his passion for agriculture and the impact he made on his fellow students and friends.

The Ethan Palmer Memorial Scholarship was established to assist a freshman student pursuing a major in agriculture at SFA. Your donations will help Palmer’s memory live on and help agriculture students achieve their goals.
