AARC is 40 BIRTHDAY PARTY!

SFA’s Academic Assistance and Resource Center is celebrating 40 years of helping students reach their full academic potential with a birthday party at 2 p.m. Feb. 23 in the AARC on the first floor of Steen Library.

The event will feature cake and ice cream, a tour of the library’s new first-floor renovations, and a tribute to past AARC staff members and peer tutors.

The AARC is a regionally and nationally accredited academic support service. It offers personalized attention from trained peer tutors who use innovative strategies to maximize a student’s potential and increase momentum to graduation. The AARC’s free tutoring services include Supplemental Instruction groups, walk-in tables, appointments and the Online Writing Lab.

Support the academic success of our Lumberjacks by helping us raise funds for additional tutoring services. Your donation will benefit all students who use AARC’s services to better their educational experience.
