Reminder: Campus Budget 101

Dear Campus Community:

As I have discussed in several venues, I truly believe in budget transparency and that the entire campus should develop a broad understanding of budgets and the new budget prioritization process. This is especially important now as higher education across the country is seeing unprecedented budget pressures and disruption to the traditional model of higher education.

To this end, we will be offering budget information sessions on two separate days in February. The information will be the same for both sessions. Hopefully one of the two dates will fit with your schedule. The sessions will provide information about what elements contribute to SFA budget development and how the fiscal year 2021 budget process and prioritization will take place. The budget sessions are open to all SFA faculty and staff, and will be held in the SFA Movie Theater on Friday, February 7th from 8:00 – 10:30 a.m. and February 10th from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m.
