At this past week’s meeting of the Board of Regents, we shared results of salary studies we commissioned through Hanover Research.
Even before this meeting, we recognized the need to further evaluate opportunities and challenges related to employee compensation (salaries), and the offices of Human Resources and Institutional Research have been engaged in that work. I have met with leadership from these areas several times recently, and they are making excellent progress.
I know how hard our employees work. I know compensation factors significantly into our perceptions of how we are valued and treated in employment. This area is a key consideration as we make a path forward for SFA to achieve its mission.
