Subject: Campus Update - Wednesday, February 17 at 7:10pm
A temporary warming station for residential students has been created in the Student Recreation Center. While we encourage you to stay in your residence hall if possible, if you choose to access the warming station please be very careful as you walk across campus. Face coverings will be required in the recreation center, which will be open until midnight. Exercise equipment will not be accessible at this time.
Due to current water restrictions, we must be extremely frugal with water usage. While this is not pleasant, I must urge you to limit flushing toilets as much as possible. Please only flush solid wastes. Dispose of tissue in a trash can rather than flushing it. And never flush feminine hygiene products.
Although we considered moving dining services to East College Cafeteria tomorrow, we will continue to serve from the Student Center Dining Hall. It has been determined that the equipment in this facility will provide the most efficient service.
Thank you so much for your patience and perseverance during this extremely trying time. Please know that SFA personnel are working hard to remedy every issue within our power.
