Severe Weather Information – Classes canceled Monday
Due to the snowfall in the East Texas area today and expectations for continued freezing temperatures, SFA classes and all campus activities scheduled for Monday, Jan. 11, have been canceled. SFA’s Early Childhood Laboratory and Charter School also will be closed.
The SFA administration and UPD will continue to closely monitor weather conditions that will impact East Texas. Check SFA’s website and Facebook page for any additional weather-related announcements.
As a reminder, current SFA students, faculty and staff should receive a Jack Alert message when classes are canceled or delayed. Please ensure that your contact information is correct and make any needed updates via mySFA.
Information about road conditions
A National Weather Service Winter Storm Warning predicting accumulating snowfall and some freezing precipitation throughout the East Texas area expires at 8 a.m. Monday.
