Traffic flow change due to road construction

The City of Nacogdoches is repairing a sinkhole on Raguet Street in the area near Hayter and Wettermark streets.
Until further notice, both southbound and northbound traffic lanes are closed in this area.
It is recommended drivers avoid the area and take alternate routes until repairs are complete.
The hole is also impacting SFA Charter School's route for second through fifth grade pickup. Families and parents who typically travel northbound on Raguet Street from East College Street are asked to temporarily change their travel route. Charter School families are asked to check their email for an alternate recommended route.
Repairs and altered traffic flows are expected to last for at least two days. Updates will be shared as they become available.
