Lumberjacks,

Today we kickoff the SFA State Employee Charitable Contribution Campaign! Please consider participating in this program by donating to one of the many worthwhile charities in the program and help us meet our goal of raising $22,000 for people in need. Here are the details:

Campaign Period: October 12 -23

Campaign Microsoft Teams Folder: https://teams.microsoft.com/l/team/19%3a6847fb42093a4ab6bbbde1b8fa4b0009%40thread.tacv2/conversations?groupId=125c0fcd-be73-409e-a8b8-69186758c84e&tenantId=aed8aecb-1543-4832-a0f9-da6cf4fa9832

Choosing a Charity: The SECC flyer in our Teams folder lists all eligible charities and the code you will need to enter for each.

Doing the Paperwork: In the Teams folder you will also find a fillable PDF to complete and return, or simply request a hard copy from one of our SECC leaders whose names and contact information are also listed in the Teams folder. If desired, this paperwork will allow you to donate through automatic payroll deductions.

Submitting the Paperwork: Return the PDF or scanned form to SECC@sfasu.edu. This email address is monitored by Veronica Beavers and Tim Bisping, who are chairing this campaign.

Alternatively, you can return a hard copy to an SECC leader, or simply return your form to Veronica Beavers in the Office of Multicultural Affairs, or to Tim Bisping in the Rusche College of Business dean’s office. Paperwork should be submitted by October 23.

Winning a Car: Those who wish to participate in the Nacogdoches Area United Way My Fair Share program should enter code 430751 on the SECC pledge form and follow the instructions in the flyer provided in the Teams folder. Qualifying participants will automatically be entered into the drawing.

The Lumberjack spirit of generosity has never been more important than it is right now. Please consider making a donation. Thank you for your support in helping those in need!
