To some, fresh snow is beautiful and calming. To others, it’s simply a cold, wet hindrance. To outdoor enthusiast Simon Beck, it’s a blank slate full of potential for a rather unorthodox type of art.
Using just his feet, the former cartographer and aspiring artist carves out massive, stunning and somewhat crop-circle-esque snowflakes in fields of freshly fallen snow.
On the ground, his trudges may not look like much, but when viewed from a height, the etchings are a thing of beauty.
