Dr. Robert Selden, research associate for the Heritage Research Center

Selden's article "Considerations for post-processing parameters in mixed-method 3-D analyses: A mandibular case study" was published in the publication Advances in Archaeological Practice.

The article identifies processing parameters that result in the most consistent fit between CT-derived meshes and a 3D surface model of the same human mandible.

Dr. Jim Ewing, associate professor of education studies
Jim Ewing

Ewing is the lead author of a position paper for two national organizations. The paper “Positioning Multilingual Learners for Success in Mathematics" argues to use asset names like “multilingual learner” instead of the term “English learner.”

The National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics invited Ewing to be a featured speaker to teach supervisors strategies for meeting the needs of multilingual learners in math.

Ewing has given seven workshops and 17 scholarly presentations in the last six months about the topic of meeting the needs of multilingual learners in mathematics.
