DeWitt School of Nursing to provide free flu vaccinations
Student nurses

Fourth-semester students from SFA’s DeWitt School of Nursing will be partnering with East Texas Community Health Services to provide free flu vaccinations Oct. 7 and 8 during a drive-through event at the DeWitt School of Nursing Complex, located at 5707 North St. Event times will be announced soon.

The event is open to the public. Children 4 years of age and older are eligible for a vaccine.

Sign up to become deputized to register voters on campus

SFA Student Life is compiling a list of people on campus who are deputized to register voters. If you are deputized to register voters and would like to be added to the list, complete this form.

If you are interested in becoming deputized to register voters, sign up for the class on the City of Nacogdoches website. The class takes about 30 to 45 minutes at the Nacogdoches County Annex, located at 101 W. Main St.

Health and Wellness Hub to serve ‘hub’ dogs

Faculty and staff are invited to stop by the new Health and Wellness Hub between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. today and tomorrow for a hot dog lunch, free swag and a tour of the newly renovated facility in the Tucker Health Services Building.

Part of SFA’s Lumberjack Wellness Network, the new Health and Wellness Hub includes Health Services, Counseling Services, Student Outreach and Support, the Lumberjack Food Pantry, and a Chartwells dietitian. It also provides access to services at the Family Crisis Center of East Texas off campus.

2022 yearbooks available for purchase

The 2022 Stone Fort yearbooks have arrived.

If you would like to purchase one or more for your department, email Rachel Clark, student publications coordinator, at clarkr1@sfasu.edu.

Include an FOAP number for an interdepartmental transfer in the email. The yearbooks are $67 each.

While supplies last, past years’ Stone Fort yearbooks also are available for the bargain price of $30 each. If you would like to purchase any past yearbooks, include the desired years in your email.

The yearbooks will be delivered promptly to your department. If you have any questions, call SFA Student Publications at (936) 468-4703.
