NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
Formal hearing officers needed for behavioral conduct panel

The Dean of Students Office needs volunteers for its Behavioral Conduct Formal Hearing Panel, which consists of students, faculty and staff. Chosen participants will work with the DSO as well as hear and adjudicate behavioral conduct cases.

This role requires a large time commitment. Chosen participants will be asked to attend training(s) on how to adjudicate conduct cases as well as dedicate hours of their work week or school week to hear a case.

This opportunity is a great résumé builder and a chance to gain more insight into the administrative side of student affairs and the DSO’s work. If you are interested, complete the Behavioral Conduct Panel Membership application.

For more information, email Brendan Lardie, coordinator of student conduct, at brendan.lardie@sfasu.edu.

Forrest’s official conference T-shirt will be available for free on a first-come, first-served basis to registered attendees of the IMPACT Conference. A limited number of discounted registrations for $75 are still available for students, faculty, staff and community members. Fill out this form if you are interested in attending.
