Applications for DSO hearing boards now open

The Dean of Students Office is looking for SFA community members who are willing to participate in the university’s student conduct process by serving on the Academic Integrity Hearing Board or Behavioral Conduct Hearing Board.

Academic Integrity: Faculty members who wish to serve as panel members to adjudicate academic integrity cases should complete the Academic Integrity Hearing Board panel member application.

Behavioral Conduct: Faculty, staff and students who wish to serve as panel members to adjudicate behavioral conduct cases should complete the Behavioral Conduct Hearing Board panel member application.

Serving on these panels is a large time commitment. You will be asked to attend trainings on adjudicating conduct cases and to take hours off during the workweek to hear a case.

UMC seeks enthusiastic students for Instagram takeovers

University Marketing Communications is offering an opportunity for Lumberjack students to showcase their daily lives on the university's Instagram account. We are seeking energetic, enthusiastic students to participate in "Day in the Life of a Lumberjack" Instagram story takeovers.

This is a fantastic way for a student to highlight their experiences and share their passion for their studies. These takeovers also will feature the amazing program offerings at SFA. If you know a student who would be a good fit, or if you have questions, email socialumc@sfasu.edu.
