Faculty and staff are encouraged to inform students about the Accounting Career Fair from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, in the Baker Pattillo Student Center Grand Ballroom. This is an opportunity for students to connect with recruiters looking to hire for accounting internships and full-time opportunities.

FINE ARTS
School of Theatre and Dance to present 'The Dumb Waiter' tomorrow
Dumb Waiter

SFA's School of Theatre and Dance will present a centerstage production of "The Dumb Waiter" by Harold Pinter at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow and at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, in the Black Box Theatre, Griffith Fine Arts Building.

Directed by senior theatre education major Evan Hamilton Banda, this darkly comedic one-act play delves into the lives of two hitmen, Ben and Gus, as they await their next assignment in a mysterious basement. As they bicker and pass the time, the arrival of strange, cryptic messages through a dumb waiter escalates the tension, leading to an unsettling twist that challenges their loyalty and perception of the mission.

To purchase tickets, visit the Fine Arts Box Office website.

THIS AND THAT
LA House

If you've been looking for a home near Los Angeles, have I got a deal for you: half a house for half a million dollars.

The one-bedroom, one-bathroom bungalow in suburban Monrovia, northeast of LA, was crushed by a tree in May. It now lacks a roof and some walls, but the plumbing still works. This fixer-upper is listed at $499,999.

The Associated Press has more information on the house's "open-concept floor plan."
