NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
Mark your calendars for Holiday on the Plaza
Holiday on the Plaza

Join us for the annual Holiday on the Plaza from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 2. This festive event brings together faculty, staff, students and their families to celebrate the season, enjoy delicious treats and participate in holiday-themed activities.

Help us count down to the lighting of the SFA campus! Prior to the lighting, which will take place in front of the Austin Building, we will have performances by the incredible SFA Kantorei and Singin’ Axes choirs, as well as SFA Charter School students. Enjoy booths and specialty food trucks in the Baker Pattillo Student Center Plaza, and don't forget to visit Santa’s Workshop. The student center retail food venues will also be open.

Faculty Senate meeting set for Nov. 13

The SFA Faculty Senate will hold a meeting at 3 p.m. Nov. 13 in McGee Business Building, Room 133, and on Zoom.

Members of the SFA community are welcome to attend the public portion of the session either in person or via Zoom. However, per senate rules, only faculty senators are permitted to participate in the discussions during the meeting. Therefore, questions should be forwarded in advance to your faculty senator for potential consideration.

Thank you to Showcase Saturday volunteers
Nov Showcase

The Office of Admissions would like to thank all the volunteers who helped make the Nov. 2 Showcase Saturday possible.

We had over 2,000 guests on campus, so we could not have done this without you! Whether you helped with room reservations and session setup, gave directions in the Baker Pattillo Student Center Plaza, talked to students at the academic fair, stayed to help clean up or anything in between, thank you for making this a great event.
