UT System approves design, budget for new forestry and agriculture buildings
New forestry building

The University of Texas System Board of Regents approved today an additional $5 million be added to the nearly $80 million previously allotted to SFA for the construction of new state-of-the-art forestry and agriculture buildings. The expanded budget supports the addition of an Agricultural Engineering and Technology Building next to the future home of the Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture.

Stone Fort Museum to host St. Patrick’s Day concert
St Pat Music

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with music by El Camino Real de Nacogdoches from 2 to 4 p.m. March 15 at the Stone Fort Museum. The band will play traditional Irish music, as well as music that celebrates the rich history of Texas. While enjoying the music, attendees can relax under a spacious tent and savor traditional Irish treats.
