Staff Council to meet April 8

Staff Council will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, in McGee Business Building, Room 133, and via Zoom.

Chris Cotton, university archivist and research coordinator with the East Texas Research Center, will discuss the Presidential Investiture Ceremony for Dr. Neal Weaver.

Counseling Services introduces new therapy dog
Rudy

The flash of golden hair, the pitter patter of paws and a damp nuzzle from a nose may not sound like the cure to any ailments, but when it arrives in the friendly form of Rudy, SFA's newest golden employee, that’s where the magic happens.

Counseling Services is now offering animal-assisted therapy with their new golden retriever, Rudy, to help manage student’s mental health.

Dr. Wycliffe W. Simiyu Njororai, Chair, Department of Kinesiology and Health Science

Njororai published a book chapter, "Transient African Male Football Players: Participation and Impact in Chinese Super League" which delves into the complex dynamics of African footballers' involvement in China's premier football league. The study examines the phenomenon of these players' "transient" nature, highlighting the often short-term contracts and fluctuating careers within the Chinese Super League.
