The SFA Faculty Senate will hold a meeting at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in McGee Business Building, Room 133, or Zoom with meeting ID 943 1607 9106 and passcode "SENATE."

Members of the SFA community are welcome to attend the public portion of the session; however, per senate rules, only faculty senators are permitted to participate in the discussions during the meeting. ETRC to host photo digitization workshop

The East Texas Research Center will host a photo digitization workshop led by Linda Reynolds, ETRC director, at 4 p.m. April 17 on the first floor of Steen Library. Participants will learn about the process of digitizing photo negatives and slides. Will Honea, ETRC records manager, also will talk about long-term storage of your newly digitized photos.

Participants can bring negatives or slides and see the entire digitization process, gain tips on how to increase longevity and digitize your photo.

Due to limited space, registration is required prior to the event.

National Student Employee Appreciation Week begins April 14

The National Student Employment Association designates one week each year for universities and colleges across the country to recognize, appreciate and encourage student employees.

SFA has more than 1,400 student employees who play a key role in our educational, research and operational excellence. They perform invaluable services with enthusiasm, dedication and initiative.

We encourage departments to take the opportunity during National Student Employee Appreciation Week, April 14-18, as well as throughout the year, to thank their student employees and let them know that their efforts are valued.

Undergraduate Research Conference slated for April 15

The Nacogdoches and campus communities are invited to attend the Undergraduate Research Conference from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, in the Baker Pattillo Student Center Theater and Twilight Ballroom.
