The Presidential Investiture Ceremony for Dr. Neal Weaver will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 1, in the Griffith Fine Arts Building, Turner Auditorium. A reception will immediately follow.

An investiture ceremony is a prestigious academic tradition that marks the formal installation of a new university president. During this ceremony, the president is officially "vested" with the powers of their office, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter in the university's history.
