Chef Ward

The Center for Professional and Continuing Education and the School of Human Sciences are hosting the Moveable Feast Traveling Culinary School on campus beginning June 28. The school will offer French dining experiences featuring hands-on learning in addition to a world-class meal.

Learn how to sharpen your knife skills, prepare French cuisine, and bake croissants, French bread and more from Chef Justin Ward, a Nacogdoches native returning home for the summer to travel across the U.S. with his culinary school. Trained in France, Ward has lived and worked in Europe for the last two decades. He now works in Paris as a chef and consultant and runs a chef-curated kitchenware online store called Dubon.

Several of the courses are open to children 8 and older to offer family fun. Learn more and register through the PACE website.

Faculty and staff are invited to participate in a blood drive hosted by Student Engagement from 11:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. July 16 in the Baker Pattillo Student Center multimedia room by Starbucks.
