ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Emergency Management staff members
emergency

In April, The University of Texas System Police Department at SFA’s Emergency Management office, within the Nacogdoches All-Hazard Working Group, led and coordinated a full-scale, multi-agency Active Threat Field Training Exercise in Nacogdoches.

This complex, real-world scenario brought together local, regional and campus partners to strengthen coordinated response, life-saving tactics and unified command operations.

From initial response and threat neutralization to triage and command coordination, this exercise tested the systems, partnerships and decision-making that protect our campus and community every day. Thanks to the DeWitt School of Nursing and student volunteers, who helped make this exercise a success.
